Alargeballoonsuddenlyappearsabovevillagesandfieldsandgrabstheattentionofthepeasants.Theystartlikingthesuddenguestfromnowhereforthebeautyofthefreeexistence.Apolicemancomesandthedreamsoffreedomvanish.
AbarrageballoonappearsunexpectedlyoveraBulgarianvillage.Thestartledvillagersdecidetoknockitdownwithafusillade.Buttheballoonfliesofftothemountains.Thevillagers,armedtotheirteeth,setoffafterit.Buttheyarenotaloneinthisundertaking.Thereisanotherarmedgroupthatchasesthe'wonder'.Anargumentwhosepropertytheballoonisbreaksoutbetweenthetwogroups.ItturnsoutthattheballoonflewfromRomaniaovertheDanubeRiver.Intheturmoilfollowingtheargument,theballoonisdestroyed.Thepolicearriveandpunishthevillagersformeddlinginotherpeople'saffairs.
